Languedoc-Roussillon truly does not stop to astonish by its dynamism and freshness!
After a career in finance in Paris for Jean-Charles Mathieu and one in wine marketing between the US and Thailand for Anthony Aubert, the two young men chose their native Languedoc to throw themselves into their own wine merchant adventure in September 2018.
Both from the medieval city of Carcassonne, they know each other since high school and did not think of any other region to create their business.
Languedoc-Roussillon indeed has a climate that is perfectly suited to wine growing, a wide range of grape varieties that is favourable to experiment and has a growing reputation.
It is not at the same level of recognition as Bordeaux or Burgundy so it also allows a more attractive value for money, both for producers and consumers.
Success has come knocking for this authentic and creative duo!
Especially with the Best Design prize for their labels in the prestigious Harpers Wine & Spirit magazine, or else with a score of 18/20 for their Corbières Marie-Antoinette by the magazine Terre de Vins…
