Château Mentone: how to combine tradition and innovation in wine

Surrounded by 170ha of forest, plane trees and centenary oak trees, Château Mentone is a breath of fresh air in the south of France. Numerous accommodation and activities offered there make the visitors take a well-being break.

The estate has been among the firsts to get the Côtes de Provence appellation, it produces white, red and rosé wines. 30ha of vines are divided between 7 different grape varieties (Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rolle, Clairette) and farmed organically with the ECOCERT certification. Some of these vines are between 30 and 80 years old. Along with the continental climate and the clay-limestone soils, it allows the grapes to be fully ripe and able to create fine, balanced and elegant wines.
